Into Your Hands
There are times in our lives that a certain song, or lyrics, or both just seem to be crying for an graphic to go along with it. This is what happened when I heard this song.
I had been praying for a new webpage, and took off on my own, in a direction "I" was sure the Lord wanted me to go. It was an uphill battle all the way. "I" was fighting trying to create it. Then that little light bulb, or should I say the Lords finger tapping me on the shoulder, got my attention once again.
There used to be times in my life when, "I" was to big to even fit through a doorway. I wanted this, I wanted that. Even at this time of my life I still really need to let the Lord lead me in all my paths, not just the ones I want Him to work on.
It is so much easier and softer if I get to choose what needs to be changed, rather than allowing Him to teach me and prepare me for my lifes lessons. Sometimes life is very hard, but take comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father is always one step ahead of us, preparing our path.
So while surfing I came upon this Song. My minds eye (the heart) then knew what the Lord and I were to do. Our gift to you is the above graphic, with the pupil heart, to go along with the beautiful words that the Lord gave the writer, composer and singers of this selection.
Verse 1
Into Your hands I surrender
All of my hopes all my dreams
All I ever long to be is in Your hands
All of my fears all my sorrows
Pleasures and joys this my theme
I commit all that I am into Your hands
Chorus
The hands that took the nails upon that rugged tree
Are strong enough to shelter shield and carry me
The hands that took the nails upon that rugged tree
Are strong enough to shelter shield to carry me
Oh to carry me
Verse 2
Into Your hands I am trusting
Whatever the future may bring
Where You lead me I will rest within Your hands
All of my strengths all my weakness
As long as I've breath I will sing
I commit all that I am into Your hands
Repeat Chorus
The hands that took the nails upon that rugged tree
Are strong enough to shelter shield and carry me
The hands that took the nails upon that rugged tree
Are strong enough to shelter shield to carry me
Oh to carry me
Yes You carry me
To carry me
Instrumental solo
Into Your hands I commit all that I am
Into Your hands
Repeat Verse 2
Into Your hands I am trusting
Whatever the future may bring
Where You lead me I will rest within Your hands
All of my strengths all my weakness
As long as I've breath I will sing
I commit all that I am into Your hands
Yes I commit all that I am into Your hands
I commit all that I am into Your hands
