God's Ocean
2001

Looking out at your creation
I feel your presence next to me,
the glory of the Lord most high
is in the sky and the sea.

Waves crashing in toward the shore,
the darkness pierced by points of light,
all blend in splendor to this scene
on this beautiful ocean sight.

The grains of sand, the stars above,
have all been crafted by your hand.
Then I'm reminded of your son
and how He fell that I might stand.

And as I walk along the shore
I'm thinking of the love you gave,
I know that from the heavens above,
you love me even beyond your grave.
